ALBAWABA - Horrifying footage flooded social media, capturing the moment a UK driver slammed his car into the side of a takeaway kebab shop in Stoke-on-Trent, causing the building to come crashing down. The man was identified as 21-year-old Daniel Mohammed, who overtook another car and lost control. Authorities revealed that Mohammed was using his phone when he slammed his vehicle into Burslem’s Rose Fast Food. Reports added that the 21-year-old was driving his black Ford Focus without insurance. Stoke-on-Trent at 6am on 20 July. Staffordshire Police said Mohammed lost control of his car after overtaking another vehicle on a bend and ignored his passenger's pleas to slow down. The collision caused the building to collapse partially and left the car severely damaged. The passenger on board also suffered a broken collarbone and fractures to two bones. However, no one inside the takeaway was injured.Reports state that the passenger was asking Mohammed to slow down.In response to the accident, which occurred on July 20, the man pleaded guilty to charges including reckless driving, operating a vehicle without insurance, and using a phone while driving. He is expected to serve two years and two months in prison and has been banned from driving for nearly four years.
