A fire at a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia, caused by a strike from Russian UAVs, has been extinguished.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“Emergency services extinguished the fire covering an area of 10,000 m². They are currently inspecting and dousing the building’s structures,” the statement reads.

The threat of further attacks complicated firefighting efforts, forcing rescuers to suspend operations and take cover.

All emergency services were on the scene.
