The venerable Mahindra Bolero is back in updated form, and with a price tag that should appeal to commercial buyers seeking the lowest cost per kilometre.
The new Bolero MaXX Pik-Up, while not a stickler for grammar, represents the next step in the company’s single-cab bakkie strategy, with prices starting just below the R200,000 mark.
The Bolero MaXX City 1.3T model kicks things off at R199,000, and that doesn’t refer to its engine size but rather the load it can carry, with the entry model boasting a payload of 1.3 tonnes. Next up is the City 1.5 (tonne) at R229,000, while the ‘Heavy Duty’ HD 1.7 (tonne) comes in at R259,000.
Payloads range from 1.3 tonnes to 1.5 tonnes.
