As of 30 June, 4.41 million people in EU countries had been granted temporary protection under the mechanism established to provide refuge to Ukrainians following the start of the full-scale war.

Details: In June, the number of Ukrainians with temporary protection in EU countries increased by 24,380, up 0.6% compared with May.

The largest increases in temporary protection beneficiaries in June were recorded in Italy (more than 4,100 people), Czechia (over 3,800) and Germany (almost 3,000).
