Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) threw his support behind New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s (D) push to strengthen protections for Amazon.com, Inc.
(NASDAQ:AMZN) delivery workers.
Sanders Backs Mamdani’s Amazon Delivery Worker Bill In a post on X, Sanders said that Amazon made more than $92 billion in the first half of the year while using "legal loopholes" to deny workers their constitutional right to unionize.
He praised Mamdani for backing legislation to hold Amazon accountable and protect its delivery drivers.
