The year 1982 was not an ordinary year in secondary schools football. It was the year that for the first time, two teams from the senior division contested a national InterCol final. And it was also the first occasion that a team outside of Trinidad won InterCol. That was the Tobago school, Signal Hill Senior Comprehensive.Ricardo Dalrymple’s goal gave the Tobago boys a 1-0 win over San Fernando Technical Institute. That victory was just a “signal” of what was to come.
