Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo married his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, in a civil and private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on Tuesday, according to his management team, Reuters reported. Their five children attended the ceremony. The couple got married exactly one year after Rodriguez, 32, announced their engagement on Instagram. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been in a relationship with Rodriguez since 2016.Ronaldo, who played for Portugal at the World Cup this summer, is one of the most decorated players in football history, having won major trophies with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and his current club, Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.The 41-year-old Ronaldo announced his marriage to Rodriguez with a stylish post on Instagram. He shared a photo of the couple’s hands showing their wedding bands, along with the caption, "C (heart) G".Ronaldo’s World Cup career ended with 27 appearances, the second-most by any player, and 11 goals.
