It seemed that her husband was unaware of the incident and, first, she was identified with the help of residents from the society.“When we approached her flat, her husband, who was asleep, opened the flat. Further investigation is underway,” said Manisha Singh, additional deputy commissioner of police, Noida.The man was arrested late night on Monday from his residence.“According to the suspect's husband, the woman was suffering from depression and taking medicines. However, no papers related to doctor’s consultations have been produced yet. It was also revealed that there was a dispute between the couple,” the investigator, privy to the case, added.According to preliminary investigation, the couple are from different faiths and were married on July 11 after being in a relationship for two years, said officials. The two also shifted to this home from another society in Noida last month.Officials said that the victim used to work at a call centre, while her husband is a video editor at a private firm in Noida.
