Some All Progressives Congress stakeholders have expressed support for the decision of the Bende Local Government Area that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, should go for another term.
The stakeholders insisted that equity demands he be allowed to complete another four-year term.
The candidate for the Bende North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Mr. Orji Udeagha, confirmed this on Sunday in a telephone interview.
Udeagha said the people had thrown their weight behind the re-election bid of Ben Kalu.
