A farmer turned up to her own wedding riding her favourite cow, which she said was 'pretty much my best friend'.Victoria Lee, 37, rode her Swiss cow, named White Chocolate Button, to the ceremony in Mark, Somerset.Mrs Lee even returned to her farm with new husband Mike after the church service to milk the cows before joining guests at the reception.She said: 'I grew up on my family's farm in Dorset and we weren't allowed ponies so I started riding cows.'I thought why not train White Chocolate Button to take me to church.Though Mrs Lee tried to train her other cow, named Basil, to be ridden, she said the animal was not keen 'so we left her alone'.'She tried to roll me off,' the newly married farmer added.White Chocolate Button has also been dressed up as a ghost for Halloween with a bedsheet and cut-out eyes and ears.Victoria Lee rode her Swiss cow, named White Chocolate Button, along the final stretch of the journey to her wedding ceremonyMrs Lee described the cow as 'pretty much my best friend' - White Chocolate Button carried her on the final approach to the church after she travelled to the Somerset village in a tractor The bride said she had tried to train another of her cows - Basil - to be ridden but was unsuccessful Mrs Lee returned to the farm after the ceremony with her husband Mike to milk cows before joining their guests at the receptionThe cow only took the bride along the final stretch of her journey to the church as she was brought to the village on a tractor.Accompanied by her bridesmaids, who were on foot, Mrs Lee approached the church on board her 'best friend'.After the wedding, groomsmen held farming tools up in a guard of honour for the newlyweds before guests travelled to the reception.Behind them were the bride and groom, who stopped off at the farm to milk the cows and drop White Chocolate Button, who was not invited to the reception, home.
