The management of Premiere Academy has charged its graduating students to embrace essential life skills, responsibility, and resilience as they prepare to take on new challenges and opportunities beyond the school environment.
Michael Ajogu, the priest in charge of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, made the call during the graduation ceremony of the 2025/2026 students, where he charged the graduates to combine academic knowledge with strong character, sound decision-making, and a sense of responsibility in navigating the next phase of their lives.
Ajogu, in his keynote address, themed “Post-School Life”, at the 2026 Valedictory Service of Premiere Academy, Abuja, held to mark the graduation of 87 SSS3 students for the 2025/2026 academic session, tasked Nigerian youths to take responsibility for decisions that will shape their future as they transition to post-secondary life.
“Post-Secondary School life is a chapter that no teacher will write for you, no parent can fully control, and no friend can live on your behalf. From today, many of the decisions that will shape your future will be yours to make.
“Outside, there is freedom, but there are also storms, pitfalls and responsibilities. Freedom is beautiful, but freedom without wisdom is dangerous. That is why you need courage,” he said.
