The Texas Longhorns have all eyes set on what should be an exciting and expectation-filled 2026 season this fall. But while the focus remains on getting ready for what lies ahead, the Texas coaching staff is still making sure to stay busy on the recruiting trail. Texas will have some major opportunities ahead to impress some top recruits during gamedays in Austin this fall, including in Week 2 against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Already set to be a star-studded event, the Longhorns just added a significant name to their visitor list for that weekend. This will mark the second time he's visited Texas, as he took a trip to the Forty Acres this past April.Wright also has a visit scheduled with the Florida Gators for Sept. 26. The scary part? He's only going to get better.Standing at nearly 6-4, 215 pounds, he's already got SEC-ready size along with receiving versatility to go with it. Texas will need to use the upcoming visit as another opportunity to strengthen the relationship with him as teams around the country start adding more commits to their 2028 classes.Wright has received offers from teams like Notre Dame, Oregon, LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Missouri, Georgia, Miami, Texas A&M, Colorado, Louisville, Auburn and many more. Unsurprisingly, the list goes on and on.Over the past two seasons, Wright has posted 77 catches for 1,629 yards and 18 touchdowns.
