Russia carried out a missile attack on Ukraine on the night of August 10 using ballistic missiles manufactured in North Korea.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his evening video address, Ukrinform reports.

"Russia used missiles from North Korea again in an attack against Ukraine on the night of this day. Ballistic missiles were used against Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia from several Russian regions. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. My condolences to all those who lost loved ones. Dozens of people were injured in the strikes," he said.

Zelensky added that the nighttime missile strikes were launched from Russia's Kursk, Rostov, Oryol, and Voronezh regions.
