It turns out that when Donald Trump travelled back to the US from a Nato summit in Ankara last month, he actually wasn’t on the plane with his White House staff and the journalists who had been told he was.

They became the decoy, while the President was smuggled on a third plane, inside a Turkish food truck. This is how it all unfolded.
