Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas and BankPlus to Celebrate Rehabilitation of 40-Unit Affordable Housing Community

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and BankPlus will join the Mississippi Regional Housing Authority VI (MRHA VI) to celebrate the grand reopening of Pattison Homes I & II. An $850,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant awarded by FHLB Dallas through member institution BankPlus helped fund the $2.5 million project.
The rehabilitation included new roofs, HVAC systems, energy-efficient windows and more for Pattison Homes I & II, which consists of 11 buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom rental homes.
AHP funds are awarded through FHLB Dallas member institutions like BankPlus and assist FHLB Dallas members in financing the purchase, construction and rehabilitation of owner-occupied, rental or transitional housing and housing for homeless individuals.
