Katie Price has left her director furious after completely snubbing her film Jackie The Stripper after 'begging' for a part. The former glamour model, 48, channeled her alter ego Jordan for a small role in the new racy comedy film which was released last month. However, despite 'begging for a role' in the project, the Daily Mail can reveal that Katie has completely snubbed the film after failing to attend the premiere at the start of July. Meanwhile Katie was expected to promote the film once again after it was released as available to buy and rent on Amazon Prime this week and has failed to do so. Director Michael Head has been left full of frustration as he described Katie's actions as 'disgusting'. He explained: 'This is about female empowerment. This is about all the things that we're making a film for. And Katie's just snubbed it which is not really what's done.' Katie's representatives have denied that she was required to do further promotion for the film and declined to comment on why she didn't attend the premiere. It was understood in June that Katie would attend the premiere after her management team SANDS confirmed her attendance just four days before the event. However, following this, they became aware that Katie was overseas and her management confirmed just two days before the premiere that she would no longer be attending as she was back in Dubai. A source told the Daily Mail: 'No reason for her withdrawal has been provided other than her decision to remain abroad.'It is disappointing that Katie has cancelled her appearance at such short notice, particularly after her attendance had been confirmed on multiple occasions and publicly. 'She even DM'd the director asking for her ticket for attendance on 6th May 2026.'Set in London's Whitechapel district in 1888, Katie plays a character named Lisa, while Charlotte Kirk, 34, plays the lead role of Jackie. Director Michael Head explained: 'This is about female empowerment. This is about all the things that we're making a film for. And Kate's just snubbed it which is not really what's done'The synopsis reads: 'Set in London's Whitechapel district in 1888, Kirk stars as Jackie/Lottie who finds herself plagued by the infamous Jack The Ripper (Lomas) who is head of a secret organisation known only as The Court.'Only one man, John Grey (Webster), stands up to the Ripper, vowing to fight against the tyranny, carnage and male oppression that is left in the court's wake.'Cut to modern day, and a group of kick-ass female assassins, led by their leader Jackie, plan a series of hits that will leave The Court dead in their tracks.'The film also stars Patsy Kensit, Kimberly Wyatt, TOWIE star Chloe Meadows and Jamie Lomas. In the film, Katie's character, Lisa, mentors Jackie as she navigates the world of strip clubs, and the plot also involves Jack the Ripper. The trailer featured the women taking on the men who had visited their strip clubs after luring them in with their daring lingerie and dance moves.Katie only had a brief scene in the trailer, but looked like she meant serious business as she entered a room in a red blazer suit. The star previously had a cameo in the disaster movie Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017, where she played the love interest of American actor Chris Kattan's character.
