A Vijayawada-bound flight from Delhi reportedly suffered a technical snag mid-air and landed safely later at the airport in Gannavaram on Tuesday.According to information from the airport authorities, the pilot of the flight AI 2903, which arrived at the Vijayawada airport at around 8 p.m., found that there was some technical problem with the flight. Sources said it could be related to the windshields.“At first, the pilot considering landing in Hyderabad, but he safely brought all the 154 passengers to Vijayawada,” an official from the airport said, adding that the same flight, which leaves for Delhi at 8.45 p.m., was cancelled and refunds were being processed. The reason for behind the issue is yet to be ascertained, as well as how long it will take to rectify the problem, the official added.There are 18 flights flying between Delhi and Vijayawada in a week and Air India operates two flights daily.
