Boebert’s arrest is the latest chapter of a criminal history stretching back to 2024 that has included other multiple felonies and charges related to child abuse. His latest arrest comes as his mother is vying for re-election to Congress following a term in which she has fractured her relationship with U.S. President Donald J. Trump over his administration’s handling of the Epstein Files. Boebert was released on the same day he was arrested after posting a $10,000 surety bond. He now faces charges for sexual exploitation of a child — induce/entice, sexual exploitation of a child — possession with intent, sexual exploitation of a child — video, and two separate counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in relation to an investigation by the GCSO concerning an incident that occurred on New Year’s Day 2024. All five charges filed against Boebert are felonies.
