Florida’s business lobby is taking a very public shot at New York City leadership in Times Square to amplify its pitch that lower taxes are pulling jobs, companies and residents out of high-tax states like New York.
The Florida Chamber of Commerce rolled out a Manhattan billboard aimed at NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani that reads "Thanks for the jobs!" and even dubbed him its "Economic Developer of the Year," arguing New York’s progressive tax policies are helping drive business, wealth and population migration to Florida.
