Kaizer Chiefs return to Betway Premiership action against Sekhukhune United at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, with former coach Cedric Kaze providing an intriguing subplot.

Kaze returns to the venue just months after leaving Chiefs, this time in charge of Sekhukhune and looking to maintain his side’s perfect start to the league campaign.

The Burundian coach was part of the Chiefs technical team last season before leaving at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

He now returns to Johannesburg with Sekhukhune, having overseen a league victory over Durban City before guiding them to an MTN8 win against AmaZulu that secured a semi-final place.
