Leah Remini has signed with WME for representation, Variety has learned exclusively. She continues to be repped by Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein & Lezcano.
WME will work with Remini to further expand her brand across television, film, digital media, podcasting, original content development, and additional platforms.
Remini is best known for her work in front of the camera, including her starring role in the hit sitcom “The King of Queens.” She starred alongside Kevin James in the series for nine seasons between 1998 and 2007 at CBS. The pair reunited in the CBS sitcom “Kevin Can Wait” in 2017.
Her other acting credits include early appearances on the popular comedy “Who’s The Boss,” which led to the spinoff series “Living Dolls.” She has also been seen in shows like “Cheers,” “Friends,” “NYPD Blue,” and “Saved by the Bell,” as well as films like “Old School” and “Second Act.”
Behind the camera, Remini is known for creating, hosting, and executive producing the hit A&E docuseries “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” with Mike Rinder. The show received four Emmy nominations during its run, winning two. She and Rinder also created and co-hosted the popular iHeartRadio podcast “Scientology: Fair Game,” while Remini published her memoir, “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.”
