Chennai-based online matrimony company Matrimony.com reported net profit of ₹19 crore for the quarter ended June 2026 (Q1FY27), more than double the net profit it clocked in the same quarter last year at ₹8.4 crore. Revenue from operations went up to ₹130 crore against ₹115 crore in Q1 FY26.In Q1 FY27, billings stood at ₹136 crore, a 7.8 per cent growth in both sequential as well as y-o-y terms. The matchmaking segment added 2.71 lakh paid subscriptions during the quarter, up 15.9 per cent sequentially and 3.7 per cent compared to the same period last year.“We started this year on a strong footing by more than doubling our net profits. Our revenue also grew in double-digits and we expect this growth momentum to continue in the financial year,” said Murugavel Janakiraman, Chairman and Managing Director. More than 99 per cent of the company’s top line comes from matchmaking services, while 1 per cent comes from marriage services and other streams. The company’s marriage services segment, including offerings like wedding bazaar and mandap, recorded revenues of ₹1 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to the ₹1.3 crore it posted in Q1 FY26.Meanwhile, the firm has also announced the resignation of Harigovind Krishnasamy as Chief Financial Officer.
