Aug. 11 (UPI) -- A North Carolina man scored a $100,000 prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket just two years after winning a $2 million jackpot from another game.
Salisbury resident Cristien Breton told North Carolina Lottery officials he was shocked when the $100,000 Cash Payday ticket he bought from the Food Lion store on Mahaley Avenue in Salisbury turned out to be a $100,000 winner.
He said his shock was compounded by the fact that he won $2 million from a Platinum scratch-off ticket in August 2024.
"I could not believe it happened again," Breton said. "I've been very lucky."
Breton said he is making plans for his latest winnings.
