AI data center developer 5C Group has secured $605 million in debt financing to expand its projects across North America.

The financing, led by Brookfield Asset Management, follows the raise of $835m in equity and debt capital that 5C raised in 2025.

5C says it builds “AI factories,” defined as large-scale, high-performance data center campuses for “dense and complex AI workloads.”

The developer said the funding would allow it to accelerate the development of its portfolio of priority sites, fund the acquisition and construction of a campus in Memphis, Tennessee, and support the development of its campuses in Phoenix, Arizona, and Ohio.
