(AP)During her testimony on Tuesday, Jollotta stated that she has treated five women diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, in addition to hundreds of others suffering from postpartum depression and anxiety.Clancy's attorney argues that she should be acquitted on the basis of insanity, asserting that she was experiencing extreme postpartum psychosis at the time she strangled her three children.Jollotta further mentioned that Clancy experienced a weight loss of six pounds between October 20 and November 16.Jollotta expressed her belief that the antidepressant Remeron was an appropriate option for Clancy, stating, “it is a good choice for someone” who is experiencing “depression accompanied by anxiety and a reduced appetite.”According to Jollotta, Clancy reported a diminished appetite and had lost weight since her visit to her primary care physician on October 20, when she weighed 130 pounds, to her subsequent appointment on November 16, where her weight was recorded at 124 pounds.
