River AI, a startup founded by xAI co-founder Igor Babuschkin, raised $1.1 billion on Tuesday, with the funds earmarked for expanding the company's suite of products designed to let enterprises train AI models on their own proprietary data.
General Catalyst and AMP PBC co-led the funding, which also drew strategic participation from Nvidia $NVDA and AMD $AMD Ventures, along with Y Combinator and Temasek. The company did not reveal a valuation figure.
