Oil prices steadied after Brent crude pulled back from $90, as reports of progress in Middle East peace talks eased pressure on markets

U.S. stocks opened higher Tuesday, with Nvidia $NVDA stock leading gains as investors weighed mixed signals on the Middle East conflict and awaited a key inflation report due Wednesday.

The S&P 500 rose 0.1% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 126 points, or 0.2%, while the Nasdaq $NDAQ Composite fell 0.1%. Nvidia stock gained more than 1%, providing critical support to the S&P 500 after the company announced Monday a partnership with six major asset managers aimed at channeling over $500 billion into artificial intelligence infrastructure.
