Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Singer and actress Demi Lovato has reprised her role of Mitchie Torres in the upcoming Disney movie musical, Camp Rock 3.
Lovato was initially only announced as an executive producer on the project, but will now be seen on screen, as well.
Starring the Jonas Brothers, the sequel is set to premiere on the Disney Channel on Aug. 13 and Disney+ the next day. It is a follow-up to 2008's Camp Rock and 2010's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
"When Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, they return to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing," a synopsis of the movie said.
