Aug. 11 (UPI) -- NBC has announced that Damon Wayans has signed on to guest star on his former collaborator David Alan Grier's hospital comedy, St. Denis Medical.
"Damon Wayans is checking in to St. Denis Medical! Catch his In Living Color reunion with David Alan Grier on the Season 3 premiere. St. Denis Medical returns Nov 2 8/7c | NBC and Peacock," the cable network said Monday.
Wayans will play Dr. Highland, who is described as the "charming but pompous new doctor" who fills in while Ron (Grier) is recovering from surgery.
The show co-stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper and Kaliko Kauahi.
