It follows Dr Jenny Cooper, played by Serinda Swan, a newly appointed coroner, who investigates a string of mysterious deaths in Toronto.‌Serinda Swan, who is also known for playing Karla Dixon in Amazon Prime's Reacher, is joined by Roger Cross in the series, who plays Det. Donovan "Mac" McAvoy, as well as Ehren Kassam, who takes on the role of Ross Kalighi, Jenny's teenage son, and Éric Bruneau, who stars as Liam Bouchard.Coroner is based on the bestselling books by Matthew Hall.
