He joked that he was referring to the Cauvery water after the crowd hooted and jeered. After his remarks, he was detained and questioned by police for about an hour at Sengipatti Police Station in Thanjavur district.Following the video's viral spread, the women's wing of Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) lodged a complaint with the Thanjavur Police, alleging that the DMK leader had made a double-entendre remark targeting Trisha.
