KKR-backed LEAP India’s ₹2,480-crore IPO was subscribed 1.95 times by 1.33 pm on the closing day.The QIB portion was subscribed 2.67 times. The NII portion saw stronger demand at 3.41 times subscription, while the retail portion was subscribed 0.91 times.The employee portion recorded the highest demand, with subscription reaching 6.06 times.LEAP India mobilised ₹743.62 crore from institutional investors, including Smallcap World Fund and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹480 crore and an OFS of up to ₹2,000 crore. The price band was fixed at ₹151-₹159 per share.Proceeds from the fresh issue will be used for repayment or prepayment of certain borrowings and working capital requirements. At the upper end of the price band, LEAP India will have a post-issue market capitalisation of about ₹7,005 crore.Earlier, the company raised around ₹371.3 crore through a pre-IPO placement conducted on August 3-4.Swastika Investmart said LEAP India is well-positioned to benefit from the country’s underpenetrated pallet pooling market, but its demanding valuation makes the risk-reward unfavourable.The shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE and NSE.Published on August 11, 2026
