Corporate announcements, index changes, fresh orders, regulatory approvals and strategic deals are set to keep BSE, Wipro, TCS, HCLTech, BEL, Lupin and several other stocks on investors’ radar as trading resumes on Tuesday.

BSE, will enter the Nifty 50 index, replacing technology company Wipro effective September 30. The reshuffle forms part of the National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) half-yearly review of the benchmark and broader market indices. Hitachi Energy India, Polycab India, Vedanta Aluminium Metal and Vodafone Idea will be added in the Nifty 100 index, while Indian Hotels, Lodha Developers, REC, Shree Cement and United Spirits will exit. Wipro, which leaves the Nifty 50, will move to the Nifty Next 50. Life Insurance Corporation of India, Meesho, Bank of Maharashtra, Hindustan Copper, NLC India and REC will be added to the Nifty 200 index. TCS, HCLTech examine data exposure claimsTCS on Monday reported that it has received threat-intelligence alerts alleging a possible leak of “basic” employee data. The Tata group company was quick to add that there is no indication of customer data, customer systems or its own operational systems being impacted. Meanwhile, HCL Technologies, in a clarification to the exchanges said, regarding claims made by a hacker group of potential exposure of limited data elements relating to HCLTech employees. In this regard this is to clarify that the Company’s initial investigation has revealed that the aforesaid data may be limited and dated to a few years back. There is no evidence of breach to the Company’s systems or engagement with any of the Company’s clients. The Company, however, is undertaking further investigation, and any material findings in this regard will be reported.
