Editor's note: This is a developing story and is being updated.A fire broke out at an oil refinery over 6,000 kilometers (4,000 miles) from Ukraine in Russia's Far East, as a Voronezh Oblast logistics hub belonging to major Russian online retailer Wildberries was targeted overnight on Aug. 11, monitoring channels reported.In the distant city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia's far eastern Khabarovsk Krai, a fire broke out at an oil refinery, according to Telegram channel Exilenova Plus.Meanwhile, in Voronezh Oblast, a Wildberries logistics hub in the Russian village of Novaya Usman was engulfed in flames following a series of explosions at the site amid Ukrainian strikes, Telegram channel Supernova Plus reported.Voronezh Oblast Governor Alexander Gusev earlier reported that an air raid alert was activated in the region due to the threat of drone strikes.Another fire was reported at a power plant located about 4,300 kilometers (3,000 miles) from Ukraine in the city of Angarsk in Russia's Irkutsk Oblast, Exilenova Plus reported.The details could not be immediately verified by the Kyiv Independent.Ukraine regularly strikes military infrastructure deep within Russia and the occupied territories in an effort to diminish Moscow's ability to continue waging its war, but the reported fire in the far eastern Khabarovsk Krai, which has a coast along the Sea of Japan, would mark one of the most distant disturbances Russia has faced.Overnight on Aug. 10, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian oil refinery in Tatarstan and hit military targets in occupied Ukrainian territories, while Russia claimed its air defenses intercepted 456 Ukrainian drones across the country.Ukrainian forces also struck the Tobolskneftekhim petrochemical plant in Russia's Tyumen Oblast on the same night, the General Staff said.The damaged site is located in the city of Tobolsk, located approximately 2,200 kilometers (1,370 miles) from the Ukrainian-Russian border.
