The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old suspected kidnapper, Abdulmumini Sarki, of Ziriyalo Hamlet, via Tubule Village, in the Kirfi Local Government Area of the state.
The command also recovered a motorcycle and a mobile phone from the suspect.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Habib, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday.
According to Habib, “On 7th August 2026 at about 2100hrs, operatives of Kirfi Divisional Police Headquarters, acting on credible intelligence, arrested one Abdulmumini Sarki, male, 30-years-old, of Ziriyalo Hamlet, via Tubule Village, Kirfi LGA, Bauchi State.”
