Kebbi Gov Dr. Nasir Idris
The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has visited communities affected by recent security challenges in Bagudo Local Government Area, assuring residents of his administration’s continued efforts to restore peace and protect lives and property.
The governor, who visited Illo, Kaoje, Tsamiya and other affected communities on Sunday, expressed concern over the recent incidents and sympathised with residents who lost their loved ones and property.
Speaking at Tsamiya town, Governor Idris described the incidents as “unfortunate and disturbing,” assuring the people that the government was working with security agencies to address the situation.
“My administration has been supporting the security agencies in the state in order to ensure that everyone can sleep with their two eyes closed,” he said.
