Mecca agreement a defense pact, not directed against any country: Pakistan FM

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Monday the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey is defensive in nature and is not directed against any country.

In a message to the nation on the signing of the agreement, Dar said the agreement is a reflection of the “depth of our brotherly bonds, shared values and common commitment to peace, security and stability.”
