The Management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has suspended three undergraduates of the Faculty of Law for two academic years over examination malpractice.

The suspension, which took effect from 25 June 2026, will run until 24 June 2028.

This is contained in separate memos addressed to the affected students by the university’s Registrar, Ambrose Ugwu, on Monday in Enugu, and made available to reporters.

The affected students, comprising two males and one female, are Isong Ugwu, with registration No. ESUT/2023030212973; Gad Nwosu, registration No. ESUT/2022030203441; and Roseline Nnamani, registration No. ESUT/2024030219772.

Mr Ugwu said the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, acting on behalf of the University Senate, approved the recommendations of the Senate Examinations Malpractice Committee.
