The roughly 600,000-square-foot facility at Generation Park will create nearly 500 permanent jobs and about 2,000 construction positions

Bristol Myers Squibb $BMY announced Monday it will build a $2.3 billion drug manufacturing campus in Houston, Texas, part of the company's broader $40 billion commitment to invest in the United States over five years.
The roughly 600,000-square-foot campus will be located at Generation Park, a 4,300-acre site in Houston. The facility is designed to manufacture multiple types of medicines, including small molecules, biologics, and antibody-drug conjugates, the company said. The campus is engineered so that its production footprint can grow or shift in response to the company's evolving drug pipeline.
