Christine McGuinness opens up about her living arrangements with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness as he’s linked to publicist18:07, 10 Aug 2026Christine McGuinness has shed light on her current living arrangements with ex-husband Paddy McGuinness, after he was spotted out with another woman.‌The former couple were married for 11 years before announcing their split in 2022 but still live together with their three young children, Penelope, Leo and Felicity.‌While the model, 38, has been linked to a string of famous faces after their split, including boxer Nicola Adams, the Take Me Out host, 52, is now rumoured to be dating BBC publicist Emma Carey.‌The TV and radio host is thought to mainly stay on the top floor of their Cheshire mansion while his ex resides on the bottom, but they keep their lives separate.Speaking in a new interview shortly before pictures emerged of Paddy and Emma, Christine explained that their arrangement has been a ‘blessing’.‌“Our lives outside are outside for both of us. We have personal lives outside of the house, but we don't [bring dates home],” she told the Daily Mail. “I would never do that, this is the family home. And we never did have many visitors to the house, even when we were married, because the children would find it unsettling.“Certainly when it comes to dating, anything like that is going to take a very, very long time, like years, years and years.'“We share the same family home and we share our holidays sometimes,” she continued. “We're more than happy to do family holidays together with my mum, with mummy and daddy there. And we will do. I'm really looking forward to it, to be honest."‌In a previous chat with the outlet, the mum-of-three explained that they have both remained transparent about their love lives to ensure the other isn’t blindsided by headlines.“We spoke about this after we separated – what are we comfortable with, how much did we want to share – because neither of us wants to wake up and find the other on the front page of a newspaper,” she added.‌“But it’s been three years now, I don’t need to know what he’s doing and he doesn’t need to know about me. It just stays outside the home.”The exes tied the knot in June 2011, four years after they were initially introduced by a mutual friend at an event. Two years later, they welcomed twins Penelope and Leo together before adding to their brood with Felicity in 2016.In 2022, they were met with split rumours before announcing their decision to formally separate in a statement, explaining that they were putting their children first.‌Christine’s latest comments came just before Paddy was spotted out with Emma - a publicist for BBC Radio 2 - for the first time, while out in London.According to the Sun, an insider claimed that they are "incredibly comfortable together", insisting that the presenter is “deliriously happy” in his new romance.“Fans will be thrilled to see him so happy after the anguish of his marriage split with Christine,” they added. “It’s easy to see why he’s so smitten with Emma by his side. Paddy looked like the cat that got the cream.”Article continues belowLike this story?
