Last Days: Two World-Cinema Festivals
Two rare film seasons run tonight and close Wednesday. CineSesc on Rua Augusta has the first-ever complete Aki Kaurismäki retrospective — all 18 features — while Cine Belas Artes is finishing its Festival Filmes Incríveis of unreleased world cinema. Both are open tonight, both are cheap (around R$20, US$4), and both end 12 August. On a quiet Monday, this is the move.
