A massive fire has erupted at a Northamptonshire industrial estate following reports of an "explosion".
Residents have been urged to close their doors and windows due to smoke from the blaze, believed to be at Recycleforce, a business off Gretton Brook Road, on the Earlstrees Industrial Estate in Corby.
A witness told the Northamptonshire Telegraph: “We’ve just heard a huge explosion. The smell is unbelievable. It’s all over Corby.”
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue stated: "We're currently in attendance at a fire on Earlstrees Industrial Estate in Corby, after being called shortly before 2pm (August 10). Multiple crews are currently on scene. Nearby residents are asked to please close their windows & doors due to the plume of smoke & avoid the area."
A man has shared footage of the fire in Corby and said that "small explosions" could be heard coming from the industrial estate.
