Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc strengthened its outlook for sustained shareholder returns in the first half of 2026 as profit before tax rose by 21.8 per cent to N14.37 billion, supported by stronger operating performance, strategic investments and diversified income sources.

The aviation handling and logistics group’s six-month financial statement for the period ended June 30, 2026, released on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), showed that the company continued to benefit from increasingly efficient operations, helping to moderate the negative effects of adverse operating conditions on its overall performance.

Gross revenue rose to N35.36 billion in the first half of 2026 from N32.33 billion in the corresponding period of 2025, while operating profit increased by 25.4 per cent from N11.64 billion to N14.59 billion.

Profit before tax rose from N11.79 billion in the first half of 2025 to N14.37 billion in the review period, while profit after tax increased by 22.2 per cent from N8.88 billion to N10.85 billion.

Adjusted basic earnings per share also improved from N4.55 in the first half of 2025 to N4.87 in the first half of 2026, providing additional headroom for cash dividend payments despite the increase in outstanding shares following the bonus shares distributed for the 2025 financial year.
