Georgina Campbell, the BAFTA TV Award-winning actress who broke out in Zach Cregger’s horror hit “Barbarian,” has signed with Anonymous Content for representation.
Campbell is best known for leading 2022’s “Barbarian,” which marked “Weapons” filmmaker Cregger’s directorial debut. The film premiered at No. 1 at the domestic office and went on to gross more than $45 million worldwide, a wild success for its $4 million budget.
Before “Barbarian,” Campbell made history in 2015 when she became the first non-white actress to win the BAFTA TV Award for best leading actress for her work in the BBC TV movie “Murdered by My Boyfriend.”
On the film front, she most recently starred alongside Lesley Manville, Liam Neeson and Joe Keery in the sci-fi horror “Cold Storage” and led thriller “Psycho Killer,” both of which released in February. Her other recent credits include Netflix’s “Bird Box Barcelona” (2023), Ishana Night Shyamalayan’s “The Watchers” (2024) and horror movie “Influencers” (2025). For her extensive work in the horror genre, Campbell has been deemed a “scream queen.”
Up next, Campbell — who starred in the 2017 “Black Mirror” episode “Hang the DJ” — will reunite with creator Charlie Brooker on his upcoming untitled detective series for Netflix. She will also star alongside David Dastmalchian in the horror film “The Shepherd,” which follows a young woman in labor who is on the run from her abusive ex.
