She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of medical professionals.At the scene, officers arrested four women – aged 20, 21, 23 and 26 – and two men – aged 21 and 24 – on suspicion of murder. They have all since been released on bail while inquiries continue.Police said efforts are ongoing to trace the woman’s next-of kin.Chief Superintendent Jason Stewart said that early indications suggest it was an "isolated incident". He stated: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young woman who has lost her life.“We understand that news of an incident like this will cause concern within the local community. Local officers will continue to be visible in the area and are available to speak with residents who have questions or concerns.“While enquiries remain ongoing, information available to us at this stage indicates this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.”Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation, says that police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information to help the investigation.He said: “Our investigation is progressing at pace and detectives are working to establish exactly what happened in the time leading up to this woman’s death.“A number of people were arrested at the scene and have since been released on bail while enquiries continue. Officers have been carrying out forensic examinations, reviewing available evidence and speaking to witnesses to build a full picture of the circumstances.“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation.
