Ethereum news: Bitmine (BMNR) buys $14 million in ETH as Tom Lee expects tailwind for crypto
Chairman Tom Lee said easing financial conditions could support crypto, even as the CLARITY Act failed to reach a Senate vote before the August recess.
Bitmine acquires $14M in ETH (smallest 2026 haul) while boosting $50-58M weekly stock buybacks, holding 4.8% of supply. Treasury shift toward shareholder returns signals maturing strategy amid softer inflation and Fed pivot (September hike odds: 75%→40%).
