Union Mutual Fund, sponsored by Union Bank of India and Daiichi Life Group, Inc., has appointed Rajkamal Tiwari as Chief Executive Officer of Union Asset Management Company for the interim period. He will assume charge from Madhukumar Nair on Tuesday.Tiwari has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Union AMC. Having played a key role in the company’s strategy, governance and operational functions, he brings deep institutional knowledge and leadership experience that will ensure continuity as the organisation enters its next phase of growth.With over 26 years of experience in the financial services and capital markets industry, Mr. Tiwari has held leadership roles across finance, operations and asset management.Tiwari said the fund house remains committed to serving investors with integrity, disciplined execution and a long-term perspective while continuing to strengthen the organisation’s growth journey.As of July, the fund house has an average AUM of ₹28,540 crore.Published on August 10, 2026
