Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Washington Commanders left tackle Laremy Tunsil will undergo right triceps surgery and is out indefinitely, coach Dan Quinn told reporters Monday.
Tunsil was hurt during practice Saturday in Ashburn, Va. Quinn did not rule out his return during the 2026 season.
"It's always tough to talk about a player missing time, especially a great player like LT," Quinn said. "Not only is he an unbelievable player, but he is an absolutely fantastic teammate. He'll be missed, and we certainly can't wait to get him back."
Tunsil started 14 games last season for the Commanders. The five-time Pro Bowl selection signed a two-year, $60.2 million contract extension this off-season.
