Escalation in Yemen and the Red Sea continued over the weekend, with fighting between the Iran-aligned Houthis and the Saudi-backed government known as the Presidential Leadership Council spreading. Houthi attacks on the government-controlled port of Mokha are now reportedly ongoing, while Saudi Aramco’s 400,000 barrel per day Jizan refinery on the Red Sea Coast, 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of the Yemen border, was targeted again on Sunday.
