After the heartbreaking death of her newborn baby and two miscarriages, 39-year-old Lauren Goodger said she is ready to add to her family in emotional TOWIE scenes13:01, 10 Aug 2026Lauren Goodger broke down after announcing she wants to become a mum again, years after the harrowing death of her baby and two two miscarriages plunged her into heartbreaking grief.‌The reality TV star gave birth to her second child with ex-boyfriend Charles Drury in 2022 but she tragically died just moments later, due to lack of oxygen. It emerged that the umbilical cord “had two knots in it”.‌It was a devastating time for the star. Less than a week after the inimaginable moment, Charles decided to end their relationship, telling her that he no longer loved her. Lauren, who shares her daughter Larose with him, isn't done with parenthood and the 39-year-old got emotional as she discussed her plans and could use a sperm donor.‌In an up-coming scene for TOWIE, she burst into tears at Sophie Kasaei's mother's blessing ceremony. Pregnant Sophie held sobbing Lauren tight and told her: "You're allowed to cry, you've gone through so much, you know. And you stay so strong."‌Lauren said she couldn't wait to meet Sophie's baby, and told her: "I'm just like enjoying this through you as well".She is then asked if she wants another. One Lauren responds: "I do, yeah." As she wiped away the tears, she was told told another baby is "pending".Sophie then told her: "How you can sit there for me and be strong for me with all the other girls and support me after what you've been through. Like you know, I'm so grateful for you for being there for us as well. Thank you."‌Describing that period of her life as “horrendous”, she explained that she considered taking her own life, but the thought of her eldest child, Larose, stopped her.Content cannot be displayed without consent“I was suffering panic attacks at night, terrified of dying and leaving Larose on her own. I still get them. I felt suicidal. I have done so since. If it wasn’t for Larose I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here,” she continued to the Sun.‌“I realised that night it was the end of us. I felt terrified being upstairs on my own with a one-year-old while my Lorena was downstairs in the living room in her casket. That night was the weirdest, most terrified and lonely I’ve ever felt.“Charlie and I had a toxic, trauma bond. After that, although we were actually separated, I fell pregnant again, twice to him, and then miscarried. We finally split for good in 2024. Now we are no longer in a toxic place. We co-parent, go on holiday and nice days out.
